Betty/JL going over talking points with Hal. They're going to say this will be a big power move getting out a big player. Betty thinks the 3 of them (JL/G/Betty) and Josh should say the same thing. JL says if she doesn't use it then they'll no how close she is to Marty. Betty asks if she cares who she uses it on. JL says Not really. She originally thought Marty and Moose sitting near each other but if Moose is truly not the target it makes more sense for Marty to sit next to Summer.
Betty says this house makes her paranoid Kev asks she's worried Hal will use veto and she'll go up? Betty says no. She asks if he's worried about that? Kev-always Kev asks if she wants Hal to use the veto. Betty says she doesn't care if she does. If she gets put up against Moose oh well. She asks if Kev is worried about going up Before he can answer she says she's more worried about a double Kev gets called to the DR.
Haleena whispers to Big Brother that she's next level tired and to please let her sleep 10 more minutes. Rooster crows Haleena-okay okay okay. Thank you Josh comments he's tired Hal so tired. She says her eyes won't open. She's not even faking it.
Hal and Summer say their arms are hurting form the comp. Something about pumping. Summer comments it didn't hurt at the time. Betty and Hal are trying to figure out how many days are left on slop. Betty is going to ask if they can eat Thursday am. Betty says you know we still have 4 more days because today is Saturday. Editor's note: I"m thinking slop-brain is real.

Kevin asks Haleena what she's thinking. She says she thinks everyone is gonna want her to use it to backdoor Marty, but she thinks it'd be dumb to do it now. Kevin agrees 100%
Haleena and Summer are chatting. Summer is discussing Mandems was her priority despite her other dealings. She took the shots at Kyle and Hermon, and she was working with Hermon. Haleena says she gets it. Haleena says she's not talked to Gino or Moose yet, so hopes they can keep their convo to themselves, but she wants Summer to stay. She doesn't think Summer is in danger. Summer says she'd have to consult so many people on her nom decisions if she's HOH. Haleena jokes about breaking the 'use the veto' pattern. Summer says if you end up not using it, she will campaign again to her but no hard feelings at all, she gets the risk. Summer says she cares about staying, not if Haleena is gonna use the veto. It isn't conditional. Haleena heads outside to where Josh and Marty already are.
Hal and Kev's convo began by Kev saying she saved their games last night. He points out forget about us, Marty going is bad for you. Hal wonders if Gino and Jace will pitch to her. Kev congrats Hal for being last to not hit block. Means she's playing the best game. Hal and Kev think everyone is going after Marty next week because the showmance has them fooled. He thinks that if Marty wins HOH they need to steer him to Summer and Betty noms.Hal says she'd rather see Summer go than Betty next week if Marty wins. Kev agrees, and points out Josh is gonna have a hard time getting out Betty despite what he says. Hal and Kev discussed how to explain to Josh why they aren't using the veto, citing safety chain reason. Kev doesn't think if they go to the end with Marty, they're not necessarily losing in F2. Hal is who brings up they got better odds next to Marty than Josh and Kev agreed. Kev and Hal believe that Josh and Gino are tied as frontrunners to win. They agree Moose needs to go this week. Hal is who brings up issues with Jacey, how Jacey said in front of Betty that Hal's cute quirk is shit-talking. Why would you say that? Hal says she only shit talks with Jace, that's it. This is when the Jacey=villain shit talk begins, discussing specifically what she says about Summer. Kev says this is why he brings up Summer a lot to Jacey. Hal goes into discussion on Betty having issues with Summer, which Kev believes is true. Hal says everyone wants Marty out but I'd be playing their flipping game. She asks Kev to be honest with her, and Kev asserts it is best for their game. Kev is discussing an advice video that McCrae and Janelle made that said to find a ride/die and stick with it. He's sticking with Hal. Hal says when Marty is up next it's fine, I'll vote him out. Hal asked Kev what Josh's pitch is. Kev admits it is really good. He explains Josh's theory about how it gives them best HOH odds, but he points out how Jace going would be bad for them. Kev says if he wins HOH he's doing Sum/Betty noms with a Gino backdoor, but if it can't happen they get out Betty so Josh gets pulled in closer. Kev says he will not nominate the showmance together, that'd be stupid. He briefly wonders if they can get Marty to turn on Gino and Hal immediately dismissed that. Hal and Kev discussed how to manage Marty in the event they turn on him in the future. Kev mentions how Marty is so good at his info in the house, it's absurd. Hal says it is good if Josh thinks he and Kev are closer than they are. Kev says he's already told Josh that. He asks again if Marty is better for F3 than Josh and Hal says she thinks everyone loves Josh. Kev briefly counted votes for Josh in the end and agreed Josh wins by a landslide. He mentions if he wins HOH in a triple he's nominating Josh/Marty/Gino. Hal and Kev agree they pick each other in the event of a second safety chain, picking Marty is too risky. Kev says how are people not afraid of Josh? Are they stupid? Hal doesn't think Josh tried yesterday. He had the puzzle first did he not? Kev says he was doing well. They don't believe Josh is just a master's student. Kev and Hal believe Josh probably has a PhD. They think Josh and Moose are close. Kev doesn't think it is terrible if people think Marty is controlling them. Hal says but Jace says she thinks you and Marty are super close. She discussed how Jace said she doesn't feel close with Kev. Hal and Kev agreed they need to pin down the final four with the showmance today so they feel secure. Hal thinks the showmance has something with Josh and Betty. Hal is scared more of Gino than Josh. Kev explained how they can blow Josh's game up if they have to. They just explain Josh told them about the final four with him and Betty. Jace will be livid. Hal discussed how Summer just wants to make it to BB awards. Kev brings up how Summer thinks Hal and Kev will be the F2. Hal says that scares her a little.
Gino tells JL that he thinks Marty/Hal are close and that's why Kevin is acting a little squirrely - he has no one. Gino thinks they need to keep him close JL agrees, Kev is always trying to put a name on their alliance, they should just do it already.
Marty is filling Josh in on his entire game so far, why he's made the moves he did and how besides Kevin, no one else has his back. Josh asks of he's tight with Hal? Marty says sort of, but not really game wise. But then confirms he's tight with Kev and Hal. Marty tells Josh that he's sort of good with Gino, but wonders if Josh had won veto last night would he have been BD this week? He can feel his time coming.
Kev thinks they're making enemies at this point it's game time. Josh hopes it's a double, he'd put the showmance up together. Josh points out that Marty said Kev is his #1 today - Kev says that's a lie, Hal's his #1 but he's using Kev as a shield for it. Josh agrees. Josh's plan whoever wins HOH next week, they pitch Marty and Hal to go OTB, if one comes down you put Gino up. Kev asks why Hal would be the pawn? Because she won veto this week. It just works. Kev agrees - it's dangerous, but it's definitely crash test. Both agree Hal is telling the truth when she says she'll take out Marty eventually - Kev thinks it's just a week or two early. Kev starts cracking up about how paranoid Marty is when it comes to studying.. Josh: you don't know how badly I want him to go. Josh thinks Kev and Hal should have a fake fight to throw ppl off.. Josh: you can say you just realized it was a stupid move not to use veto and take Marty out. Then ppl will tell Kev that was the plan and he can tell them he would have helped. Josh confirms he threw veto he saw that Hal was doing well and it freed him up from having to do what Gino asked. Kev asks if he's been throwing all of them? Other then Bees Knees pretty much.
